भारत और पूरे North-East में Zubeen Garg सिर्फ एक singer नहीं, बल्कि एक legend माने जाते थे। September 19 को Singapore में उनकी mysterious drowning की खबर ने सभी fans को shock कर दिया। अब इस case में बड़ा मोड़ आया है। Assam Police ने singer की मौत की जांच को murder angle से जोड़ते हुए 4 लोगों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है।
क्या है पूरा मामला?
Zubeen Garg Singapore में आयोजित Northeast India Festival में performance देने गए थे। Event के बाद वह एक yacht party में शामिल हुए। Reports के मुताबिक, उसी दौरान वह swimming करने उतरे और कुछ देर बाद पानी में बेहोश हालत में मिले।
- उन्हें तुरंत बाहर निकाला गया, लेकिन बचाया नहीं जा सका।
- Singer की age 52 years थी और वह बेहद fit माने जाते थे।
- Fans और family इस मौत को “mysterious” बता रहे हैं।
Police Investigation में नए खुलासे
शुरुआत में इस case को accidental drowning माना जा रहा था। लेकिन अब Assam Police ने इस मामले में कई लोगों को हिरासत में लेकर interrogation किया और murder charges (Section 103 BNS) लगा दिए।
- Arrested: Musician Shakharjyoti Goswami और singer Amritprabha Mahanta
- इन दोनों पर आरोप है कि ये लोग Zubeen के साथ swimming area में मौजूद थे।
- Reports के मुताबिक, Amritprabha incident की video recording कर रही थीं।
इसके अलावा singer के manager Siddharth Sharma और Northeast Festival के organiser Shyamkanu Mahanta को भी दिल्ली से arrest कर Guwahati लाया गया है।
Murder Charge और Legal Action
- Assam Police ने अब FIR में Section 103 of BNS (Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita) जोड़ दिया है, जो murder से जुड़ा हुआ है।
- इस section के तहत punishment: death penalty या life imprisonment और साथ में fine भी हो सकता है।
- इससे पहले case सिर्फ culpable homicide, negligence और conspiracy पर था।
Family और Fans की Demand
Singer के death mystery को लेकर family और fans दोनों ही लगातार CBI या High-Level probe की मांग कर रहे थे।
- Singapore authorities ने autopsy किया था। Report जल्द family को handover होगी।
- Meanwhile, Guwahati में दूसरा post-mortem किया गया है, जिसका viscera report अभी pending है।
CID और SIT की जांच
इस मामले की जांच के लिए Assam Police ने Special Investigation Team (SIT) बनाई है।
- SIT Singapore जाएगी evidence collect करने।
- India ने Singapore के साथ MLAT treaty (Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty) के तहत मदद मांगी है।
- SIT ने singer के cousin और Assam Police के DSP Sandipan Garg से भी पूछताछ की है।
Financial Crimes Angle
Interesting बात ये है कि police ने organiser Shyamkanu Mahanta के खिलाफ financial crime का case भी खोला है।
- Raid में police को multiple PAN cards, fake company seals और benami properties के documents मिले।
- Allegation है कि उन्होंने money laundering से massive illegal wealth बनाई है।
North-East में Shock और Sadness
Zubeen Garg North-East India के सबसे बड़े icons में से एक थे। उनकी मौत से Assam समेत पूरे region में sadness की लहर है।
